Remember that saga I shared back in August 2023 about our bathroom woes? Well, folks, we’ve reached a milestone! After battling with tile and grout (and our sanity), I’m thrilled to announce that our basement bathroom remodel is finally usable!
Sure, we’ve had our fair share of lessons learned (read: trial and error), but with patience, a little help from our friends and family, and maybe a few choice words here and there, we managed to pull it off. It might not earn me a plumber’s license anytime soon, but hey, I’ll take the win where I can get it!
The end result? A brand spanking new sink, toilet, lighting, mirror, and a shower that actually works! And the best part? When Rylee said it felt like showering at one of those fancy resorts we usually vacation at—cue the proud dad moment!
Sure, there’s still some cleanup left to do (those pesky tiles!), but for now, we’re basking in the glory of a job well done. Here’s to DIY adventures and the sweet satisfaction of a functioning bathroom! #DIYWins #BasementRenovation #ProudDadMoment
